Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between LAPS Supply ("we") and the business that signs up for LAPS Supply CRM (the "Service") ("you"). By using the Service you agree to them on behalf of your business.
1. The Service
The Service helps you book, dispatch, document and bill service calls, track leads and tasks, and connect your Shopify store. Features may change as we improve the Service; we won't remove a core feature you rely on without reasonable notice.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the people you add as users and for what they do in the Service. Keep sign-in emails private, and tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
3. Free trial
New accounts get a 30-day free trial with every feature. If you don't subscribe by the end of the trial, the account is paused; we keep your data for 30 days in case you come back.
4. Price and billing
- The subscription is $50 USD per month and includes 5 users. Each additional user is $5 USD per month. Taxes are extra where they apply.
- If you install through the Shopify App Store, Shopify bills you on your Shopify invoice. Otherwise we bill your card monthly in advance through Stripe.
- You can cancel at any time; the Service stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial months.
- We'll give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
- If a payment fails we'll let you know; if it isn't fixed, we may pause the account until it is.
5. Your data
You own the data you and your users put into the Service, including your customers' information and job photos. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide, secure and support the Service. You're responsible for having the right to collect your customers' information and for telling them how you use it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it. You can ask for a copy of your data at any time, and after you cancel we delete it as the privacy policy describes.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, send spam, upload content you don't have the right to use, try to access other companies' data, or interfere with the Service or its security. We may suspend an account that does, after notice where reasonable.
7. Other services
The Service works with Shopify, Google and other providers. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we aren't responsible for their outages or changes, though we'll work to keep the Service running smoothly with them.
8. Availability
We work to keep the Service available and back it up every night, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Planned maintenance will be done outside business hours where possible.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business.
10. Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or right away if you seriously breach these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We'll post changes here and email account owners about significant ones at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the changes.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
